Funding by the State of Delaware will allow Judy Johnson Field at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium to expand at the end of this season. Permanent grandstand seating will be extended along the first base line, replacing the general admission bleachers. The upper level promenade will have a three level picnic terrace, which will allow fans to watch the game from their picnic table. A permanent home for the Delaware Sports Museum & Hall of Fame will be located under the new right field construction. Additional seating will be built above the promenade walkway on the left field side. All improvements are intended to be completed by Opening Day, 2001.
